Pfc. Al Casdan was born in May 1934, in Massachusetts. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1954. Al served for two years in the U.S. Army as a Quartermaster, working in supply. Pfc. Casdan was primarily stationed in Kaiser Slanten and Ludwigzberg, Germany. In 1958, he married his wife Betty. They have 3 children and several grandchildren, and they now reside in California.
